This precision centerless grinder machine employs a centerless clamping principle, achieving self-centering grinding of the workpiece during high-speed rotation through the geometric constraints of the grinding wheel, guide wheel, and support plate. Compared to traditional center grinders, it eliminates the need for center support, improving processing efficiency and precision. Combined with our unique ultra-wide grinding wheel through-grinding technology and hydrostatic spindle system, this equipment redefines the cylindricity limits and production efficiency standards for machining slender shafts, making it an ideal choice for manufacturing automotive parts, hydraulic components, and precision bearings.

How Does MX-M1040B High Precision Centerless Grinder Work?

 

This precision centerless grinding machine operates based on a precise three-point support geometry principle:

* Grinding Wheel: Serves as the primary cutting power source, rotating at high speed to remove workpiece excess material.

* Regulating Wheel: Rotates at a lower speed, driving the workpiece rotation through friction and controlling its axial feed rate. The guide wheel's axis can be finely adjusted at its tilt angle to generate axial thrust for "through grinding."

* Work Rest Blade: Located below the grinding wheel and guide wheel, it provides a stable support reference, ensuring the workpiece center is slightly higher than the line connecting the centers of the two wheels, thus creating self-defined geometric stability.

 

Innovative Breakthrough: Traditional centerless grinders are limited by the width of the grinding wheel, and long axes are prone to "center concavity." Our high-precision centerless grinder maximizes the support span by widening the grinding wheel (up to 600mm) and lengthening the carbide work rest, ensuring the workpiece remains in a rigid support state throughout the grinding process, eliminating elastic deformation from a physical mechanism.
